It's never too late to make improvements

Life is full of challenges. To me, one of them has been to use my communication skills in English. When you have had a bad English teacher at primary school it’s not easy to overcome the lack of confidence from that bad experience, even as an adult and normally very confident and independent woman.

At some point you have to face reality and decide whether you will live with your rusty English skills, or you will improve them.

I have spent the past month improving my English skills. It can still get better – of course – but I now dare to blow my own trumpet and take part in an English conversation without feeling insecure, even if the subject is new to me.

The Cambridge Institute has given me so much confidence and joy in speaking – and writing – English. Thanks a lot Mick Owen and Pamela Juhl.
